David has over 12 years’ experience in financial services and investment banking in the Canadian public and private markets. As First West Capital’s Regional Director, Ontario, David provides mid-market businesses in Eastern Canada with tailored subordinated debt, mezzanine and equity financing solutions for growth, acquisitions and transitions.

Prior to First West Capital, David’s positions included District Director and Associate Director at Roynat Capital, Associate at BMO Capital Markets and various positions at GE Capital.

David holds a Masters in Business Administration (Finance) with honours from McGill University and Bachelor of Commerce (Business Management) from the University of British Columbia.

David was one of the top fundraisers in 2015 for MotionBall, an event benefitting Special Olympics, and he also supports the Terry Fox Foundation and regularly races in the Terry Fox Run. He currently sits on the Young Professionals Board of Directors for the Jays Care Foundation.
