Paulette Rennie

Paulette Rennie has more than 30 years of financial industry experience. She started her career with Toronto Dominion Bank where, over a 15-year period, she held various positions throughout British Columbia. Paulette originally joined Valley First in May 1989 working in the Oliver branch for three and a half years. Following a short stint in Vancouver, she returned to Valley First in 1995 where she had the pleasure of opening the Cherry Lane branch as branch manager.

In 1998, Paulette moved to the Valley First head office in Penticton to assume the role of senior manager, branch operations. Over the next 12 years she took on increasingly senior roles including assistant vice-president, operations; assistant vice-president, sales and service; vice-president, retail banking and chief operating officer. In late 2009, Paulette was appointed Valley First’s acting chief executive officer. In this role she led Valley First through the final stages of its merger with Envision Financial. On Jan. 1, 2010, Paulette became president of the Valley First division of First West Credit Union.

Paulette takes great pride in giving back to Valley First’s communities and currently serves as a board member with the Community Foundation of the South Okanagan and the newly created Penticton Challenge Race Society as well as an advisory board member of the Fiscal Review Committee for the City of Penticton
