We are actively following the guidelines established by Health Canada and other global health authorities and continue to evaluate our operations daily. As our team navigates this rapidly changing situation, please understand that at times we may be delayed in responding to email and phone communications. Also, we will only be conducting meetings via Skype or phone until further notice.
We have taken additional measures to ensure our clients feel supported. In some instances, we are partnering with other lenders and considering covenant waivers and payment deferrals to help with liquidity and cash flow. In addition, the government has created an extensive relief package for Canadians in response to COVID-19, including relief for small businesses, an emergency care benefit for workers, tax deferment payments and a one-time childcare benefit among other initiatives.
